Mistakes made at this stage are hugely expensive to rectify. Poorly conceived layouts, a lack of functionality, inappropriate material choices, and a litany of other potential errors lead to costly on-site change orders, delayed delivery, and ultimately an inferior end product.

Advice is offered from all angles, and it is difficult to know whose advice to trust. And whilst there are many architects, interior designers, project managers, and contractors who are very talented in their respective fields, they are often not qualified to make key decisions affecting a properties value and future saleability.

About me

I have been developing luxury property for nearly two-decades, and my company, Catterson Wood is now focused solely on prime and super-prime residential projects - driven by a desire to create the most beautiful homes in the world. My passion is in curating and overseeing teams of world-class designers, contractors, and artisans, and guiding them with a clear, singular vision to create best-in-class developments.

Our most recent project, Vantage, won an unprecedented four awards at the International Property Awards, including, most notably, the UK’s ‘Best Residential Development’. This was a project we acquired with plans already in place, and with my design changes, oversight, and guidance, not only did it win awards, but we also increased the end-value by over £3m.

We are currently working on two ultra-prime mansions in Jersey’s most exclusive residential location with an estimated end-value in excess of £47m. Working alongside a truly world-class design team, we took the project from concept through to RIBA Stage 4 ready for fit-out. When complete, they will undoubtedly rank among the finest estates, not just in Jersey, but globally.

  • We know where to spend money, and where money can be saved. We will make suggestions and recommendations throughout the process. We have an array of contacts and suppliers globally that can source and supply materials at competitive rates.
